29" 26" "Woah Nelly!" - This is what you'll be crying as you scream past your bro-hams on the descents while rolling over all of God's creation with them big 'ol twenty-nines. This bike was designed with pure functionality in mind. It's just our luck that it looks super-sweet to boot. The 29" (700c) wheels give it the speed and stability of a road bike, while also allowing for more surface area covered with each push of the pedal. Translation - more speed with each crank rotation. The larger wheels also make small bumps feel insignificant, medium bumps feel small, large bumps feel medium, etc... you get the picture. The frame is basically a souped-up version of our regular unleaded frame, modified and perfected to fit a 29" wheel in the rear and a 29" compatible fork up front. For every day riding, long distance touring, or serious off-road abuse, this bike will shine through it all. The miles will drift by effortlessly as you navigate this trusty steed through even the most difficult terrain. An ideal off road touring bike, this Unleaded 29 can be outfitted and assembled with any and all of the accessories offered to regular 26" MTB frames. Fork and wheel/tire selection is limited to those companies that build 29" compatible products. Some popular custom modifications include braze-ons for paniers, the SyCip custom bar and stem combo, and disc brakes for extra stopping power under a lot of weight or speed. Going the custom route (the 29 is not available as a production frame) means having a frame that fits your body and riding style. And having a frame that fits your body and riding style means quicker weight transfer, more comfortable positions in and out of the saddle, and custom geometry that allows you to ride the way you want to. And custom by definition in the bike world means that it can be set up with a variety of different tubesets, welds, lugs and more.
