Describe a memorable bike related moment?

It had to be about eight years ago. I woke up at 5 am on the 4th of July. Friends were out of town and I decided to ride Tam and back through the headlands. I hit Tam well before 7 and got up above the cloud cover just past the depot on Railroad Grade. All I could see was the tips of the Golden Gate Bridge and the various hills and mountains of the Bay Area. I felt like the only person on Earth. A rare thing in the Bay Area.

Anytime a motorist yields the right of way with a nod or smile.
